Word 2007 SP2. I have a document that was three pages long with page numbers
starting on the second page.
I removed the page numbers, unchecked the box "Different First Page" in the
Page Layout parameters. I then added one more page.
How do I reset the internal page numbering such that Page 1 is not in fact
page 0? (When I want to print what is physically page 1 I have to tell the
printer to print page 0)
Thanks!

Sounds like you got the H&Fs all in a tiz: that's not too difficult. Try
selecting all but the final paragraph mark and then paste into a new blank
document. (That's Ctrl+End | Ctrl+Shift+Home to select all but the final
para mark.)

Sorted! Thanks very much!

On the Insert tab of the ribbon, click the Page Number button and choose Format
Page Numbers. In the dialog that appears, change the Start At value from 0 to 1.
