I don't know my administrator password and I can't logon
to windows 2000. Is there any way that I can still logon
to windows or is there any way to reset the password?

You can use your alternative administrator account
to reset the password to the primary account.

If you havn't alternative administrator account, do it:

1. discharge your harddisk;
2. setup another win2k computer, go in this win2k system;
3. open harddisk of losted password;
4. go in system list, e.g. X:\winnt\system32\config;
5. delete file "sam".
6. restall your harddisk.
OK

Sorry, my english is very pool.
If you don't understand my word, please email me.

Go to www.sysinternals.com for a utility called LOCKSMITH.
This will allow you to reset any password.

Better yet...

Here is a Linux boot disk that will let you reset the administrator
password on an NT/Win2K system. Then, once you can log in as an
administrator, you can change/reset any other user's password.

Go to
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html

and get this utility that will reset the admin password for you. Works
great! And it's FREE!!!
