i dont know if im in the right department but anyways we
have encountered a virus i guess which is undeleteable it
is an adult chat what i call virus. it is intercepting
with the internet service and boots us off when we are
on, the only way i figure to get rid of it is to restart
the computer from the beginning. We were told by a lady
at staples that microsoft gives out three cds to reboot
computer and thats all. NEED HELP!! writing to find out
how id get one. i cant download nothing off internet
because of it. i dont know much of what its called. i
dont think my mother in law sent in registration on this
computer because we didnt know we would incounter this
problem.we have had this computer since last january.
please HELP!! thanks

You were misinformed by the lady at Staples. Microsoft does not
"give out three cds to reboot a computer". What you need to do
is:

A. Purchase a good antivirus program.
B. Read the User's Guide that came with your computer
to learn how to use the Recovery method they suggest.

Hello Lori

As the previous guy said go out and purchase yourself
a virus protection software either McaFee or Norton's or
take your pc to your local computer store and have them service
it for you.
