All my TS Cals are issued. Many are to systems that
haven't existed for 2-3 yr's however the license is still
assigned. How can this be reset to free up the licenses
that are no longer in use?

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

I'm having similar problems. Called the Clearing House
multiple times only to be told I need the Select or Open
number from my sales partner. I'm a small business with no
sales partner. I explained I don't have this and I
purchased this 5 CAL W2K Server a couple of years ago and
simply need to re-issue my CAL's. The responses all range
from "you can't get there from here" to "oh yeah, you can
do that yourself".
So, not having time to navigate a minefield I purchased 5
Terminal Services CAL's and 5 W2k Server CAL's off the
internet. This allowed two WinXP Home machines to be
issued tokens.
Under my licensing server these two tokens are listed as
temporary with an expiration date. Of the 5 new TS CAL's
it is stated two are issued. Is this normal for them to be
issued temporary? What can I expect in 90 days regarding
these issued tokens? Will they be re-issued automatically?
Any help much appreciated.
