In trying to download a new program involving a license I ran into
trouble. The support people asked me to see if I had any documents
"timestamped" in the future. A search for documents "modified" in the
future show that I have many such. I tried to delete them all--dangerous
I know--but wasn't allowed to delete some. So I undeleted all.

How can I get the dates of all document back to the past?

Any ideas will be appreciated.

You can change this with third-party software like the Total Commander
(http://www.ghisler.com/). I would also scan the machine for viruses,
because this could indicate a virus infection.
