S Sindy Aug 1, 2003 #1 I would like to know the different ways in which I would be able to reset a forgotten password?
B Bob I Aug 1, 2003 #2 Non laptop, get out motherboard manual, unplug power cord, remove computer cover, locate CMOS reset jumper on motherboard, follow the instructions in the manual to reset/clear CMOS settings to default, which also wipes the passwords in BIOS. If Laptop, contact manufacturer for instructions.
