i saw an explanation how to clear everything on your computer, but I didnt understand it al
i dont reall y know that much about computer
i saw something like "bios" and "cmos
i would really appreciate it if someone could post a step by step-esay to understand wa
explaying all the fancy words and everythin

If you want to reset your computer to factory settings, just put in the
restore CD you got with it, restart the computer, and follow the
instructions.

If you do not have a restore CD, there might be another way to restore using
information stored in your computer, but we would need to know the brand of
your computer.

If your computer is a no-name brand or you do not want to do a "factory
restore," the process is somewhat more complicated but not that bad

Hi scott its alex. My computer is a dell dimension 4600c. It has windows xp home edition, and microsoft office 2003. If you need more information let me know. If thats all you know...please help me.
 
Is the restore cd different than the reinstall windows cd?

because i reinstalled windows and everything was exactly the same

nothing changed

what does the cd look like?
