Reset the network?

We recently moved our office and I was wondering if there was anyway to
"reset" the network and the workgroups. The way it was set up before was that
there were two rooms and one room the network showed up as just "WORKGROUP"
and the other showed up as "MSHOME". This I assume is because they had the
different rooms set up on different wires (it was setup by someone else and
it always worked fine). Now that I'm in a different building our network is
all plugged into the same switch and router and there should only be one
"WORKGROUP". When I open my network places everything is still listed as
before only most of the connections no longer work. What I really want to
know is how can I reset the network and all the machines connected to it so
it starts over and refreshes and re-discovers everything on the network?

Asked and answered in the other thread you made. Please don't make multiple
posts about the same subject. Be patient; people who *volunteer* to help
you live all over the world in different time zones.

Go back to your original thread (I won't be monitoring this one) and answer
the questions I asked you there so we can help you.

The workgroup names don't depend on what room the computers are in.
You specify the computer's workgroup name in Control Panel >
Performance and Maintenance > System > Computer Name. Click the
"Change" button.

Specifying the same workgroup name on all of the computers will make
networking them a little easier.
