I'm making a presentation where the students have multiple choice obtion.
When the student clicks on the correct answer a circle fills. What I would
like to happen is that at the end of the presentation is that at the return
to the first slide the circles will be unfilled again ready for the next
student.

Try creating a blank slide and give it a transitionof auto after zero
seconds. Copy it and paste a copy between all the slides with circles.

You could try to insert quiz to your presentation, then students could
take the quiz in your presentation, it is similar with what your want.
