Is there a way to toally remove the permissions set
through the security wizard? I would like to restore all
the defaults and act like I never started down that path.

The wizard creates a backup of your unsecure database (provided you didn't
decline the opportunity). Check the folder where your mdb is located; you
should see a file with the same name, but a bak extension. *If* you see it,
delete the mdb file, edit the bak file to have a mdb extension.

If you don't see the bak file, then post back - you'll have to take another
route.

Open Access, and go to Tools, security, workgroup administrator, and ensure
you are joined to the standard system.mdw workgroup file. As long as you
are, you can delete the secure mdw that was created when you ran the wizard.

What is the alternate solution?

You log in as a member of the Admins Group. Give all permissions for all
objects to the Users Group. Use the workgroup administrator to join the
standard system.mdw that ships with Access. Close Access and reopen it.
Create a new database and import all the objects from your mdb.
