When I subscribed to aol, besides taking over the spinning loga, the online
support, which used to point to microsoft support, was changed to point to
aol support. How can I reset the target for the online support? Thanks

Click Start, Run and type:

rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear

Note that the above command resets the custom branding (background bitmap in
Internet Explorer, Windows Update URL, Online support URL) to defaults.

Remesh,
Thank you for the concise and accurate fix. I spent hours on KB and web in
general, but, couldn't find any reference to this issue! I am sure there are
a lot of others with this issue. If they can find your response, they will
also appreciate the answer.

You're welcome Rose.
Glad to have helped.
