Reset LAN Settings

Is it possible to reset your "LAN Settings" manually?
seem to have a problem going through Interne
Properties/Connections -- the application just doesn't d
anything. I'd like to reset the LAN configuration to th
default (in particular make sure everything is "off" i.e
don't automatically detect settings, don't use automati
configuration script and don't use a proxy server). Is i
possible to reset these or turn them off manually?
 
go to the properties of the LAN connection, check Use the following IP
address and give the settings you want to.
