reset internet connection

this morning i accidently messed with my internet
connection option, i recently got hooked up with dsl
connection and was trying to get my computer to run
faster, i know with some programs i use i had to check i
was on a LAN, so i went into tools and internet options
and connected LAN there also, however since i've done that
my computer is running REAL SLOW, it's taking forever to
connect to the internet and to download pages, is there
anyway i can reverse what i've done this morning and if
so..HOW?.please if anyone has any answers i'd apprecaite
it.. THANK YOU

Did you graduate from the 6th grade? Did you learn about sentences and
paragraphs? How about capitals?

Did you install any dial-up Internet improvement connection applications?
They really mess up DSL connections.

How about what operating system you are using? Have you taken your car
into a service place and tell them that your car is running "REAL SLOW" and
they looked at you funny?
