Reset hit counter

Is it possible to set FrontPage's hit counter to a number of your own
choosing? I'm redesigning my home page and would like to set the counter to
the number it was up on the old page when I make the change.

If you just redesign or change the page
without removing or replacing the hit counter and
then publish, the count will stay the same.

Otherwise, publish your changes, then open
the live page on the server and change the count
with the hit counter panel by right clicking on the hit
counter.
Then save the page.
