Reset Colum Order In Datasheet View

I am using a datasheet view in which the user can move the columns around.
When the user is finished and has done the updates i would like to reset the
column order back to the original state. Ex. Col1, Col2, Col3
The user then move it around to Col3,Col1,Col2 - when closing the datasheet
i would like it to go back to original order. The tabindex property does
not seem
to work

Any Suggestions
