Reset admin password

Hi,

This is Freddy Bhagalia. I am using Windows XP professional.

I have forgotten the admin password of my WinXP and am not able to login.

Can anyone help me to reset my admin password. Is there any way to reset the
password by doing some changes in registry settings.

Immediate help would be highly apperiated.

The standard tool to reset passwords comes with this boot disk:

And the standard method to avoid this embarassing situation
is to plan ahead and create a secondary admin account whose
password gets locked away in a secure place.
