Rescuing Outlook Express messages

Despite many attempts to rescue Outlook Express, I cannot get it to open.
Can anyone tell me how I may transfer my messages into Outlook? The normal
"Import" function in Outlook won't work because of the malfunctioning OE
programme. I have Vista an Windows Mail on my laptop - is there any way I
can transfer the messages to that?

You should ask in an Outlook express newsgroup, or an Outlook newsgroup, or
a Windows mail newsgroup.
