My mother cannot browse using Internet Explorer. She is
connected to the internet, but she cannot browse with
ie. She is receiving email and can browse with netscape
navigator.

When she types in an address, this shows up at the bottom
of the of the screen
res://c:\windows\system32\shdock.dll/dnserror.htm

I figure it is some sort of "trojan" or other kind of
virus disrupting things, but I don't have a clue as to
where to go to fix it. And if I find a site with
netscape will I be able to clean the computer.

Thank you in advance.
