Required field not working on form

I have a table that has been used for months without required fields. Now I
decided to make a few of them required but they arent working on the form.
Do the new properties of the field follow to the form or do I need to delete
the field and re-enter it on the form?
 
Depends which version of acccess, but you should get an error when you
commit the record from Acc2 onwards
