Thanks Rush - got as far as 1756 on my grandfather's side and (thanks to some fellow researchers) 1700 on my grandmother's side.

Mine was just following the male bloodline ...lucky how it got back that far..They were a well educated lot and lived in big houses ,Potters Dish makers by trade (thats why it was easy) until one married a uneducated bride..oh True Love.. and then the line came to rest on my shoulders. to carry the name forward and beyond..am doing my best though
Whats remarkable is that i still work in the industry some 250 years later and am very proud in doing so ..
