Yes, the post is on the board. You only posted it 10 minutes ago and others "have worked on the problem for 3 months" (you wrote) cut everyone on the NG some slack.

Since "everyone" says it's "a Windows problem" and you probably bought the computer from Gateway with XP pre-installed (OEM) it is their problem. Microsoft does not support OEM versions of Windows it is the responsibility of the supplier.
