Haven't found a command line utility for master volume control. Has
anyone better luck?

I found a google cache of Muab's freeware here:
http://google.com/search?q=cache:people.freenet.de/muab/

http://www.pogrelz.com/index.php?r=apps

- CLVol (2.0s): Control the volume with command-line parameters. Very powerful!
Here's another way to change the volume. You can make shortcuts to lower at
a specific increment, mute, set a percentage, whatever. Useful for hotkey
apps, docks, quicklaunch, or anywhere else you might want a volume control ;).

Other apps on this webpage:

- Run+ (1.95b): Enhancing the default runbox with tons of features. Now also
skinnable.
- Sally (1.58s): A minimalistic, skinnable CPU/RAM monitor.
- Snake (.78s): The classic game of snake with skinnability
- Snatch (1.00s): A slick, fast WinAMP control. I just had to make one :)
- 3r-1c (1.00s): Emulate the OS X volume bezel with cool transpareny and
fading effects.
- Sally X (1.00s): Emulate the CPU meter from Jaguar.
- Bezelizer (1.26s): More OS X bezels.
- QuickVOL (1.0s): A volume control for the tray. The first program I made
with VB6.
- Speak (1.0b): Your computer can talk! (well, sorta...)

Have a nice day.
