REQ: Reg hack to change Default Folder View to "List" in W2k

Greeting the group;

I have searched numerous registry sites for this hack but only found it for
Win9x, but I have Win2000. After looking at my Win2k registry I found that I
did not have the same subfolder to make the recommended changes and don't
want to mess things up by creating non-existant folders in the CU Hive.

I want to change the default folder view from Large icons to LIST, unless I
select a different view for particular folders, which I want Windows 2k to
remember. I prefer List to Large Icons for the majority, but not all folders
(I like large icons only in My Computer and Control Panel).

Any help will be appreciated.
