Suppose I have two mailboxes, called 'Mary' and 'Tom'.
I want to create a new mailbox, called 'Family', and then I want to move
Mary and Tom (with content) to Family as let's say sub-mailboxes.

How do I do that?

Thanks

Hi, Clam.

If by "mailbox" you mean a Mail Folder, then it's very easy. Just create
"Family", then drag'n'drop "Mary" and "Tom" into it, like you would move
files in Windows Explorer.

It worked just fine.

Now then I have many such mail folders that I want to group together under a
collective mail folder. As I see so far, I have to such a 'move' one folder
at a time. Quite a
tedium. Any way to 'move' more than one at a time?

Thanks

Hi, Clam.

Again, just like in Explorer: Highlight the first folder to be moved, then
hold Shift while you highlight the last, then drag'n'drop the whole batch.
Use Ctrl+click to add or subtract individual items from the selected group.
