REQ: m-jpeg to mpeg

HI all,

I'm looking for a freeware m-jpeg (motion jpeg)
to .mpg converter. So far all I've found is is
something called "PICvideo M-JPEG 3" - which
leaves their www address on the converted movie.

Any suggestions ?

I dont know of any such software sorry, but you might be able to defeat that
address display simply by using a hex editor to modify the executable -
replace their www.address with spaces

btw thats an excellent program for converting video files (avi etc) to DVD
format, it's the one i normally use

Maybe not to .mpg conveter, but my ultimate goal was to burn
those files to DVD anyway. One step, problem solved.

A possibility for the hex editing pro (or amateur) maybe.
The program just drops it's codec (somewhere) and it's
program files install folder *only* contains a config.exe
file and a help file. CoMa's suggestion worked out to be
simpler in my case.

Agreed.
I can see myself getting quite used to this program.
