Does anybody know if somthing like this exists as freeware?
I want to make one executable, with integrated browser, that contains a
complete website.

I only know of some shareware, called WebExe
(http://www.aw-soft.com/webexe.html) that does the job.

Anybody have an idea?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Boxbuilder

"BoxBuilder will compile selected HTML documents in an .exe executable file
with integral viewer."

http://www.jansfreeware.com/
(in the utilities section)

This isn't exactly what I'm looking for. It has too much restrictions
to store a mirror of a normal website.
Take a look at the helpfile:

"In this first release of BoxBuilder you can only used Text Based HTML
documents. This means that images are not included and will not be
displayed. In addition only links to files in the same directory will
work, i.e. links without path information."

The main purpose for me is to make distributable files from sites that
I download with HTTrack Website Copier.
Thanks for your help anyway.
Other ideas?

Yep, sorry about missing the restrictions.

Sbookbuilder ?

Thanks again for your help, but I'm sorry to say that a simple site
with some pictures in it was terribly displayed by Sbookbuilder, and
there were no images at all.... I'm afraid that such a program that
works with normal up-to-date HTML doesn't exist in freeware... ;(

I would raise the question of whether you have the rights to do this
with the web sites you are copying. Using HHTrack to make a copy for
your own use is one thing. Distributing copies is something else
entirely. Unless you have permission from the sites involved, this is
probably illegal, and not very nice, besides. :)

Did I tell you which sites I wanted to use this program for, Terry?
I know my rights....
