req: linux console based news client

I need a news client that can be run from linux console, but one that has
some sort of text-based GUI, something like PINE for news. Is there such an
animal?

PINE. Program for Internet News & E-mail.

PINE does news .... been a while since I used it but it works great


head into the settings and set it up ...... PINE has lots of options so
take yer time
