MY WIFES 1995 Epson HAS FINALLY QUIT PRINTING SO i NEED TO REPLACE IT
QUICKLY.

Sorry

I have an HP k550 and am pleased with it in general but is there a newer
printer that`s easy on ink?
She doesn`t print a lot and usually 1 or 2 pages.
B&W and color required.

You know Buddy if your wife is still using a TSR-80 or Windoze 3.1, it
might just alter whatever suggestion people here could offer.

As posted, the Operating System is relevant (whether drivers
exist for the OS she uses.)

Discontinued Brother brand printers are widely available for
about $40 including inks (for inkjet printers) or for laser printers
a startup toner unit good for 1,000 to 2,000 pages. If she
does not need colour, the black/white laser may be last longer:
it wastes no ink on periodical self-cleaning (built automatically
into the Brother printers I like.)
