REQ: Find and add IP address automatically

I found one called Net Lightning for windows 95/98 (by M. Knight) but
it's so old (1998, I think) and probably abandoned. I'm looking for
something similar that's designed to work on Windows XP Pro.

If such a creature does exist please let me know.

Sorry, I meant adding the IP address automatically to the host file.
