REQ: File Dialog Enhancer

Sparx

Hello !

Have a look at File-Ex http://www.cottonwoodsw.com

It's shareware. Is freeware like this available? Something that would allow
me to resize the OPEN / SAVE dialog box. Added functionality like recently
used files + folders would be a major bonus!

If one synchronized swimmer drowns, do the rest have to drown too?

One that I use is Multicracker:

http://www.netcult.ch/elmue/ElmueSoft-en.htm

It allows one to see file details in the open save dialog. As for the
other features of the program you mention, you can delete, rename,
copy, move, etc. already. Right click on the file name and there most
of those options are. I do this all the time.

Hope this helps.

In (e-mail address removed), this is what John Corliss had to say

| One that I use is Multicracker:
|
| http://www.netcult.ch/elmue/ElmueSoft-en.htm
|
| It allows one to see file details in the open save dialog.

i already tried that and i also requested the author to allow the option for
a user to choose whether or not he wants the DETAILS view or the LIST view.
[ Personally, I prefer the LIST view as I simply need to see more file and
fewer details!]. Unfortunately his response wasn't too encouraging....
