Hi,

I looking for some software to validate a new DVD which had just
been burnt.

Ideally it should compare the source files, from where the DVD
was copied, with new target DVD files & also do the CRC checks,
etc.

I'd like to have options to set the number of failed read
attempts to maybe only a few so that the validation does not
take all day when the DVD is clearly failing its validation
test.

PS: I already know that my burning software should do this but
the burning software offers no options and is no good enough.

DVDInfoPro is good for checking sectors on the DVD
You are more likely to get errors from bad media than the software
failing to copy correctly.

Nero 6 is a reliable burning program.
