I am a longtime user and big fan of Cathy (http://rvas.webzdarma.cz/).
I use it to catalog my hard drives and do superquick searches.
But now I am now about to embark on cataloging 100+ CDs. I found this
program called FileTracker
(http://www.rovedigital.com/disk/file_tracker), that looks pretty cool
and it's only 20 bucks. The thing I like about it is it reads the ID3
tags off mp3 files and, and this is the really cool part, it keeps
thumbnails of all your images. Since most of the CD-ROMS I'm going to
catalog have a lot of digital pictures, that would be handy.
Anyway, before I dropped my hard-earned 20 smax, I was wondering if
there's a free disk cataloger that does image thumbnails (and ID3
tags)? Just didn't want to spend the money and found out there's
something better out there that also happens to be free.
