P
Peter in New Zealand
I use the Internet a heck of a lot for mission critical stuff like banking,
paying accounts, purchasing, research, etc. I am a country area in the deep
south of New Zealand, that's why. The Internet is an incredible advantage
for me. I use (mostly) IE6. Please, no bricks, I just like the way it works,
and it is better on my banking site than the others. There is just one silly
little niggle that I have though, and I am wondering if there is an add on,
or plug in, or IE shell around that will solve it for me. The tiny little
padlock that indicates I am on (or not on as the case may be) a secure site.
For such an important indication it seems real daft to have something so
tiny. Admittedly my eyes are not 100%, and I do miss seeing clearly whether
it is open or shut at times. Surely for something so important a better idea
would be for the whole border of the browser window to turn red or
something, or the title bar, or, for heaven's sake, a bigger indication
icon, or something. Does anyone know of something out there that does it
better (for my old eyes anyway please)? Many thanks in advance.
