Hi Russ,
Op Sys is XP Home SR1, Mail Sys is Outlook Express 6
trying to merge info into Outlook 2002 SP2
When using the import email addresses and messages in
Outlook 2002 to import addresses and email messages from
Outlook Express, I get no email addresses nor messages. I
have searched through the directory tree but still cannot
figure out the location where Outlook 2002 pulls the
address and message info from.
I can locate the files needed Admin.wab and Owner.wab as
well as the (gotta have em) data files (folders, email
messages etc) under the respective identities Admin and
Owner.
If I knew where Outlook 2002 looked for the information
within the directory tree structure I could solve my
problem by plantinng the needed files in that directory.
I have tried renaming and swaping .wab's as well as the
data files to the likely locations but no joy.
Would you happen to know of a correct directory tree
illustration or have any other ideas other than mixing my
meds to help me through this mess?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It would be nice
to get back to work instead of getting worked over.
Thanks Russ
