I am having the following problem while starting:
Since a few days I am unable to log into my main User ID which has
Administrator privileges...when I key in the ID and Password, it says,
Windows starting, then I get a screen showing my wallpaper...there is no
"Start" menu, no desktop icons, no system tray, nothing! Just a blank
wallpaper screen!
On pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete from there, I can get into Task Manager, but
that's it! The Task Manager shows no applications running...but there are
some processes running.
My machine is a P-III with 1.13 Ghz, 256MB RAM, and I run Windows XP
Professional (w/o any of the Service Packs).

Strangely, I can easily get into the other IDs (which don't have
Administrator privileges) without problems...!

Any ideas? I have tried System Restore, without change in the above
status...I am desperate for some help here!!!

Thanks a lot in advance...
