I have tried this and it still gives me the same error...
When I try to import it just comes up with the same error
when it starts the import?

Any other suggestions?

Many Thanks

Try importing all tables, forms etc into a new blank db.

Hello I get the following error when I start a specific
database:

The microsoft jet engine cannot open the file "file
location and name here". It is already opened exclusivly
by another user or you need permission to view its data.

Now I can open up the database window but thats about it
ask it to do anything and it crashes access...

I have deleted the .ldb file and still the same issue...
but sometimes it creates SYSTEM.ldb as well so I rermove
that as well and still it does it but when I click ok on
the error the database closes unexpectidly... as another
error says..

Any suggestions?

Many Thanks

I'm grasping at straws but have you tried an import of 1
table, then query, then form, etc. at a time, closing an
opening until you find a problem?
