I am totally, 100% stuck

I've had no response to previous post so I'll try and be more direct

Looking at the cross-question comparison on Duane Hookom's AtYourSurvey database, you will see that it gives you a crosstab query in datasheet view

I really need to get this onto a report (have worked my arse off all weekend with sub-reports/make-table queries - all sorts, but I'm not even close!

Please, can someone give me a helping hand

Basil

Not sure when earlier you posted this but I have been out of town for 10
days and not keeping up with the news groups. There are sample crosstab
reports at http://www.invisibleinc.com/divFiles.cfm?divDivID=4

Thanks Duane,

I actually found the crosstab report database on Roger Carlson's site a little easier to follow. It didn't require any subforms and was a little bit easier to understand the background logic for me.

I have now just about finished my survey database - it is quite similar in structure to AtYourSurvey but I have added quite a lot in respect to searching for responses matching particular criteria, and have a lot more analysis reports. I don't know if you'd be interested or not, but I would happily send you a copy... you did help me to create it after all!

Thank you so much Duane for all of your guidance (and patience!) - you are magic!

Basil

Basil,
Glad to hear you have made good progress. If you have added some good
"generic" features to At Your Survey, I would like to review them. You would
have to make sure you compact and then zip anything that you send to me.

I just got the email and will take a look when I get a chance. Thanks much.

I just sent it across. I think much of the review & analysis bits could
quite easily be applied generically to AYS.

I forgot to say... it was done on Access 97

Yesterday I converted it and realised that the autoexec would fail and mess everything up in A2000 - I needed to remove the reference to DatePicker that was missing

I also noticed that in 2000, the calendar form I created in 97 seemed to do weird things (closing the main form on click instead of the calendar form) - I think that might be the weird way that A2000 was set up on the machine though because the code is fine I think
