reports won't save

I can't save any reports in Access. No problems with
saving tables, queries,and forms. After saving the report
the report icon does not appear, and when i try to close
the file or application thye Microsoft Office assistant
pops up swaying if i want to save it. I click yes, the
table with the report name pops up again prompting me to
save it ---- but i've already done this ----- so
everything just goes in a circle. and i cant close the
application or the file unless i click NO in the office
assistance table meaning that i don't wont to save it.
I assume their is something wrong with the settings. A
professional advice might help. thanks
 
Quite often when reports are the only thing that mis-behave, this stems from
not having a default printer specified.
