Reports Template issue.

Bill J.

I'm generating 50 reports each based on it's own query. I
want each of the 50 reports to have the same exact look.
How do I get the next report generated to look exactly
like the first I did?

I tried changing the Report Template in Reports/Forms in
Tools but it doesn't seem to do anything. Am I missing
some syntax?

The report is called Alabama WIP that I want to use as
the template. Do I need to add an extension? a _ where
the space is?

I'm at wits end.

Please help.

Thanks,

Bill.

It's easier to just select the "template" report in the
database window and use Copy/Paste to create a dup;icate
report.

Are you sure you really need to do this? Most report
properties can be set at runtime, so most of the time you
can have just one report that adjusts itself to whatever
situation you need for a particular printout.

I ended up doing just that yesterday. Thanks for the
advice. As for needing to do it, sadly yes. I need 1
report for each of the 50 states, to go out to 1 or 2
people per state. My biggest problem has been finding a
way to automate the mass emailing so that each state reps
only get the file for their state. Man Access 2003 is a
pain =)

Thanks again!
