Hi,
I'm working on a public terminal - in a public library - where they are
blocking certain ports.
C'est la vie, of course.
I just suggested to tech guy here that they "fail more elegantly," when
ports are blocked, i.e., e.g., say, "I'm sorry the port over which you
are requesting this information is blocked on this terminal," or some
such....
He said that this is not possible, due to M$ restrictions, etc....
I am curious: Is this true?... Or could he, in fact, generate such a
msg?...
