Reporting poor service.

I know this is not the place, but I hope some one here tell me where to go.

For 4 days now Edatarack Server had been down, and they seens not to care
much
about their customers, I had been almost a week now without my domain.

Where in the Net I can go to report this ?

This comapny is super bad, and should be stopped from ripping off people

not that it'd have that much effect but you could file a complaint with the
better business bureau in the town that edatarack operates out of.

I even send a ticket ( post message ) and they had not responded, naturally
they may said...oh is weekend, so forget any services, even with a server
down.

I did a search with Goggle and found a lot of complains from the past.

The Company is in Texas, but instead of going to the BBB there, I think
will be better if we make public on the Net what kind of company is this and
how bad they work.

But it seems to be up now, as I can get to their site and yours.
 
The host offers low price hosting, so in general you get what you pay for.
Low prices can lead to overloaded server and/or limited tech support.

It's still up... your site has Gondar Electronics, with pictures of a
laptop, TV, VCR, HT system, vac cleaner. Your host is still up too.
 
When Up and is down again !
This company does not care at all about their customers, right now the
server is off.
When the website is down only Frontpage will give you an error, but email
works.
When Emails does NOT works too, then is that the server is down.
Is almost a week now with this crap, I will do my best to turn down this
company.
Do a search on Goggle for Edatarack and see what many said about this
company.
Too bad I dint check it before, but I will pass the word around.
Like some one said on a Post from a user's group I found with Goggle....
"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY"

You might want to find sites like the above to complain to.

However, it could be that the host is having major backbone connection
issues, which is outside of their control. If this is the case, then it is
not an easy or quick task for a web host or ISP to change backbone ISP, as
they have change all of their IP addresses, etc. and when hosting that means
change every web site.

Have you contacted the host by telephone?

They move some folks to a new server, like many here had said
the system went up, then down again, and they all screw-up.
They dont care much about what you say or anyone.

Most of the time is down, now if I lossing $1000 a day because
your company, and is almost 1 week, then I guess I can sue you
for $7000 and more! because you causing more problems to
my customers, since they cant use my website.
 
I'm sure that your contract with them specifies that they are not
responsible for collateral damages (loss of business). Suggest you change
hosts.
 
Naturally Joyful, you know that.
I just check they latest post, now they had decided that the new server is
no good
and they switching back to the old one, plus they changing companies too

In the mean time, forget your business !
 
Very frustrating! But I do see that this is a "budget" host. If your
business depends on your website, then you really should upgrade yourself to
a more reliable host.
 
Correct Joyful, I want to start with something chip, since this is the first
time I doing this.
So I can pickup experiense on this.
I get some customers from time to time ask me if I do / managed their webs.
Two things I know but dont have much experiense is Networking and Hosting.
( Remember we talking commercial level )

Still, this company just goes around doing whatever without caring for you.

Most business depends on their website some how,in my case I dont have any
money making stuff there, but there are Links from Winsite.com and others
to my downloads, all those links will be reported as "Broken Links"
by people trying to reach my downloads.

It is Sept 18th 2003. Edatarack is down again! I have try everything
to contact these guys at edatarack. They have promised with notices
that all was going to be better. They signed a contact with a provider
with a tier1 service. HA HA HA. I have 5 sites with them and one I
just signed up last week. This one has been down for a whole week. I
have asked for my money back but have been given the run around. Now
everything on their site does not work (Help desk and emails are all
returned.Try their phone number and it is forever busy) Just for the
a good laugh read their 99.9% uptime garantee and their Money back
Garantee messages. Good luck to all who have their site hosted
there!!!!
