I recently got a new computer and now I cannot run or create Access Reports.
The databases are in Access 2003 and my new computer is Access 2003. When I
try to create a new report, it will go through the wizard process, but when I
click finish it tells me that the wizard cannot create the report. When I
click on a report that was already created, it does not give me an error
message, but does not run the report. It does not lock up the system, but it
flashes like it is going to run the report but nothing happens. I also
cannot view a report in design view. Again, no error messages appears, it
just doesn't work. A different employee can log into my computer and use the
exact same file (on a network) and run the reports. I can log into someone
else’s computer and run the reports. I tried to create a new database and it
allows me to create the table and forms, but will not let me create reports.
This is happening in all of my databases. Is there a setting that would
prevent report writing?
