Hi,

I've got a weird phenomenon:

I'm opening an Access 2003 report in Word (using the icon in Access).
So far, so good. But on SOME records there are words missing (at the end
of their respective 'data field') in Word even though they get correctly
displayed and printed on the Access Report!?

Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be and how to correct this??

Thanks a lot,

Jerome

I've had the same issue, but with Access 2000 data project (sql server 2000).
No solution though, sorry :(

The Export to RTF feature in Access has always had this flaw. Only sure way
to avoid it is to NOT use that feature. It can be fairly reliable for
simple tabular reports, but any time you have text that wraps and/or
controls that grow and shrink you will sometimes see text truncation.

Yeah, but what if you NEED that feature? ;)

Use Automation of Word, Mail Merge, or create your own routine to write the RTF
to a file using the standard file i/o tools.
