I want to have a report that compares 2 years worth of data by month, each year in a separate column and a 3rd column that calculates variances from the first two. Any suggestions on how to do this?

Thanks

Export the data to separate ranges in an Excel worksheet and in another
worksheet create your report replete with formulas that pull in the data from
the two ranges and formulas that calculate the variances. You might even throw
in a chart or graph!

This can be done quite easily in Access. Can you provide some table and
field names? We don't know if you are counting or summing or what? Are you
grouping by employee or department or month or what?
