I'm working on a project that requires a paginated report to be supplied to
Clients in an electronic format. Additionally parts of the report are in
landscape and one section is in A3.

I use Win2pdf at present to manually create pdf files, and although the vb
code examples on their excellent website indicate that it is possible to
merge multiple Access reports, I just can't get mine to work.

I know that additional software such as PdfPro can merge multiple reports
and documents, but I would prefer a single application solution if possible.

I'd be very grateful for any suggestions/examples on this subject.

Many thanks

Ian:

Our PDF and Mail Libray, PDF Pro and PDF Pro Plus, can allow you to merge
multiple PDF files using Win2PDF quite easily, appending them as they are
created, or with the PDF Pro Plus, merging them after creation to add things
like bookmarks, page numbers etc.

Steve,

Have tried your evaluation version PDF Pro with PDF995, and was very pleased
with the results - but I couldn't get it to work with Win2Pdf.

My main concern however, is that I want to distribute an Access application
that can merge complex reports, but I'm reluctant to have to explain to my
Clients why they need two extra bits of software - one to create a pdf file,
the other to join them together.

Your software offers a large number of valuable tools for Access developers,
but it begs the question why don't you create your own PDF printer driver?
For me that would be ideal.

Ian:

Thanks for the feedback; maybe you could drop us a note directly on the
Win2PDF issue and we'll help you there. Our email is in the help file etc.
Related to the PDF driver, we're looking at bundles, but probably won't
write our own, there are too many good ones out there.

Thanks again for evaluating our products.

Hi Ian

did you manage to solve this problem?
If so, could you share the solution?

Much appreciated
