I'm trying to duplicate behavior for a Report text box, as far as number of
chars per line, etc - to that of form text box where user enters Order data.
I've set the dimensions, format, Font, even cut and paste so borders exact.
Yet, cannot seem to exactly duplicate
What gets entered on form is slightly different at times, in terms of
wrapping and # of characters per line.

Is there way to exactly duplicate how text entered in form to show on report?
(Access2000 - would upgrading mdb to 2002/2003 fix?)
Thanks!

Not sure, but if you are concerned with the format of the text, have your
users press CTRL+ENTER when entering data in your field wherever they would
like to insert a line-feed. This will allow them to specify what the data
looks like in the forms and reports.

I don't think there's much you can do about it. The way I
understand it, the differences between your monitor's
resolution and the report's printer capabilities are the
reason for the different spacing on the two devices.

You may find that users are less confused by this if you
make the form's text box dimensions significantly different
from the report's text box so they don't expect them to look
the same.
