Hi,

I'm having a tough time with exporting/publishing a report
in MS Word. When I run the report, it displays all the
text in it, but when I export the report to MS Word, it
cuts off some words from the end of some sentences.

I thought that maybe it was a margin issue, but the words
on the line above are displayed fully, and the words being
cut off would fit nicely within the same margin.

I'm not sure why this is happening, and would appreciate
any help. If you would like more information, please let
me know.

Thanks!

The rendition of a report in "Export to Microsoft Word" has never been one
of Access' strong points (to put it most charitably). I have had better luck
with the formatting when exporting to HTML.

Export to Microsoft Word really exports to Rich Text Format, not Word's .DOC
format, so there are two translations involved.

To make reports available to users who do not have Access installed, you may
find that printing the report to Adobe Acrobat, .pdf format, or printing it
to Access' Snapshot format for viewing with the Snapshot Viewer (a free
download from Microsoft) is preferrable to exporting to Word.

If you need to do some additional reformatting or manipulation in Word, I
can just say that with enough trial and error, you can improve the
formatting. But, it isn't necessarily easy to work with once you try to
modify it in Microsoft Word.
