Report Sorting Difficulties

Hello,

I have a table with some linked, relational values from other tables. I
created a report based on the first table (NOTES), grouped by category (ID's
stored from a linked table). I want the report to sort by
category/subcategory, rather than by the CategoryID which is the data stored.
How might I go about doing this?

If it would help to see what I am referring to, the Access database is
online here:
http://daapspace.daap.uc.edu/~wilschs/thesis_notes.mdb

The report referenced is titled "Notes"

Hi Seth

generally i find it easier to create a query that has all the fields that i
want to see (or sort by) in the report and then base the report on that. So
if you want to sort by category/subcategory include that in the record
source of your report.
