I created a report with a Table as my source using the
wizard. I then moved the fields all around to create the
look I wanted.
Two problems:
1. I checked and it lists the table as the source but
there is no data in the print preview--just the fields.

2. It keeps telling me that the size of the report and
margins add up to more than the width of the page so there
is a blank page every other page. I have changed the
margins and the size of the report and there is no reason
that it should be too wide now.
HELP!

1 Are you sure the table is the report recordsouce and not a query?
If it is actually a query, is the query itself returning any records.
If it is the table, is there any Filter in the report that is not
being met.

2)This is almost always due to the width of the report plus the width
of the margins being greater than the width of the paper.
It might also, in a small percentage of cases, be due to the length of
the report plus the top and bottom margins being longer than the
length of the paper.

As a relative newcomer to Access I was often frustrated by
extra pages appearing when the width of the report plus
the width of the margins was less than the page width.
What I learned is that if I grab the right edge of the
report and pull it to the left past the edges of some of
the controls, then let go, it will automatically snap back
to the right, allowing just enough room for the controls.
If the problem is with the height of the report, headers
and footers are part of the total height that must fit
within the margins. Again, dragging the edge of the
report (and/or headers and footers) and letting go will
sometimes solve the problem.
