Report records absent?

Hi there,
I'm trying to build a report which displays information sorted by one field
and with some calculations at group and overall report levels. I've done
this, but when I go to print, no records whatsoever show.
When I view the layout preview everything appears correct and a number of my
records display as I want them to. However, when I print or view the print
preview no records show at all.
There are no queries used in generating the report, and there is no
filtering of records that would eliminate any so far as I can tell.
Any ideas?

Some background information:

I am using Access 2002

I have found that when I remove two fields from my report the wizard asks
how I want to organise information, which it does not do otherwise. Also,
when I eliminate those two fields, the whole thing works.

Unfortunately they are crucial to the report. The relationships for the
tables those fields come from are all fully linked with the other tables.

In short, I'm trying to build a database for an assignment. The setting is a
toy library. This report draws from two tables storing information about the
toys - no problems there. The others are checkboxes from fields for putting
items on hold and borrowing them.

Furthermore, if using only one of the two fields, it works for some records
but does not return all records needed.
